Gweek Made Classical!

The Other Merlion and Friends had a special feature in A Countertenor’s Conundrum held at The Arts House on 22 July 2016. Composer Jonathan Shin turned five poems – “City Life”, “The Visitor”, “Godly Advice”, “The Cat-Woman”, and “Special Occasion” – into original music, which was performed by countertenor Chan Wei En.

Writers Get YouTubed!

The 40-minute documentary Writers: Engaging the Social was written and directed by Gwee Li Sui and produced by the Singapore Research Nexus of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, National University of Singapore. It was launched on 17 February 2012 as the opening event to the “Creativity in Singapore” symposium.
